Syla recognises the importance of transparency and accountability in identifying and mitigating risks of exploitation in global supply chains, and we strive to take meaningful action in pursuit of these aims.

Our Business and Supply Chains

Syla is a Glasgow-based sustainable swimwear brand focused on creating high-quality, durable garments using recycled and responsibly sourced materials. Our products are designed in Scotland and produced through partnering with trusted design and production studios that support ethical practices. We work with suppliers, design partners and manufacturers internationally, and we understand that risks related to modern slavery can exist at various tiers of global supply chains.

We are committed to understanding our supply chain and working collaboratively with partners to reduce risks wherever possible.

• Engaging with partners that demonstrate alignment with ethical, legal and sustainability expectations.

• Evaluating supplier credentials and sourcing materials that meet recognised environmental and ethical standards.

While we do not currently operate a separate, formal audit programme at every tier of production, we are committed to continually enhancing our understanding of supply chain risks and to implementing improved due diligence measures over time.

Syla promotes awareness of modern slavery risks among our team members and business partners. Employees involved in sourcing and supplier relationships are encouraged to stay informed about ethical sourcing practices and indicators of forced labour and exploitation.
